The Rundown: As the chasm within the box continues to grow, the entities inside learn of the betrayal of one of their own.

Sergeant Brown has leapt into the growing chasm within the ghostbox as Li Xhu and Mary Fields try to determine what is causing the chasm and prevent the other ghosts from jumping into it. At the same time, the angel at the center of everything begins to recount their connection to the box and decides to follow the officer into the chasm where they discover the truth behind the ghostbox and why they are inside it.
In the outside world, Chloe has been taken over by Sabine who is using her body to make a deal with the demons hunting her for the ghostbox itself. After making a deal for Sabine to become immortal, she is transported to the demons who discover the box is damaged. As they bring Chloe/Sabine to their infernal master, the angel makes a discovery about the purpose of the ghostbox and what it must do with its power.
The Story: Carey delivers a solid conclusion to this story. I really enjoyed the moments of revelation within the story and the rise in tension and suspense. There are some great surprises and character moments and Carey succeeds in crafting a world with compelling characters and a story I wouldn’t mind revisiting.
The Art: Raimondi delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are beautifully detailed and capture the ethereal quality of the story.
